Post Re-sequencing the Order in Which Devices Turn Off
It's pretty easy to figure out how to change the order in which devices turn on, but I'm trying to re-order the power toggle sequence so that I choose the order when devices turn off. Does anyone know how to do this?

(I've done it before a year or more back, but a new TV forces me to do it again!)

According to this post on the Logitech board, "There is no way using the software to set the order in which the devices are powered off. You may be able to have Logitech support to set this for you."

Hi,

there is no way to order the devices for turning off at all!
But here's how I solved it (you still need Logitech support to help you):

I had the problem that my A/V receiver, when it turns off, also cuts my TV from the power line (to save standby-by energy). So I wanted my TV to properly turn-off before my receiver cuts power.
To achieve this I measured the time the TV would need to properly shut off (which was about 3-4 secs.). So I added a dummy command to the turn-off sequence off my A/V receiver.
I created that by learning a useless IR command from another not-in-use device. This command now resides as the first command in my turn-off sequence of my receiver, followed by the "real" shut-off command.
I then had Logitech support added a 5000 ms hold-time to the dummy command (5000 ms is the max you can have!).

Now my A/V receiver needs at least 5 secs until it shuts down!
You might be able to stretch this to add multiple dummy commands with hold-times added...

This solution is not elegant but it does what I want (and I got proof from the Logitech forum that this is the only way...)

The above posts are very useful and nice for me because I want to know about it so that I can know about that device for turning off. I came to know about some good details through the link shared over her but do not have any solution for it.
